Every month a recipe is featured in the newsletter.

This year, newsletter recipes are for beauty & home products that Women of the Bible might have used.

From September 2010 issue

This month's recipe

Salome’s Citrus Almond Face Scrub

3 almonds
1 t. Lemon juice
1 t. honey

In mortar & pestle (or food processor), grind almonds finely. Mix in juice and honey. Massage gently onto face in circular motion. Rinse with warm water.

The citrus and honey together tighten the pores and the ground almonds provide just enough texture to scrub the face gently

.

It probably goes without saying, but if you are allergic to an ingredient in these natural beauty products, please do not try them!
